Looking for “new to you” gear?

Get ready to upgrade your hunting and fishing gear with other passionate outdoorsmen and women! Bring your used hunting, fishing, trapping, recreational shooting, camping or boating equipment to sell and shop around with on October 11-25, 2025. Goods can range from new to handmade; we also welcome any vintage and collectible items such as wood decoys, duck calls or antique fishing lures.

Examples of gear include hunting clothes, fishing rods, kayaks, boat motors, hiking gear, ammo and archery equipment.

Fall Dates:

• Jonesboro- Oct. 11, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

• Little Rock- Oct. 11, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

• Springdale- Oct. 18, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

• Yellville- Oct. 18, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

• Pine Bluff- Oct. 25, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

• Ponca- Oct. 25, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Show Off Your Shooting and Casting Skills!

The 2025 Marksmanship Challenge is a statewide competition held on August 2, 9 a.m.-noon for students (K-12) in 5 different categories:

• BB guns
• NASP archery
• 3D archery
• Slingshots
• Casting

Participants will be divided up based on their grade and compete regionally for prizes. A statewide winner will be named based on the regional winners from across Arkansas.

Marksmanship Challenge Locations:

Arkansas Game and Fish Commission educators are available to come to your location to teach about wildlife and the outdoors at your school, civic group, library, church, home-school group or other organized group.

Topics we cover include:

• Conservation education and wildlife biology
• Setting up and teaching basic archery or bowhunting
• Hunting skills, including working with you to teach hunting
• Fishing clinics, classes and skill building at any level or fishing type
• Arkansas wildlife biology, identification and viewing
• Birding skills and taking groups to view birds
• Hunter Education
• Boater Education
• ATV Safety
• Outdoor and/or wild game cooking techniques and recipes
• Orienteering
• Rifle, pistol and shotgun firearms safety and instruction
• Helping teachers meet academic standards and requirements through customized activities in your classroom
• And anything else outdoors or wildlife related you can think of!
